The menu:

- Burgundy snail ravioli, with garlic mushrooms, red wine coulis and mesclun lettuce. Homemade ravioli lightly sautéed, brimming with yummy snails, fused with earthy shrooms and fresh greens. The champion of the night!

- Mushroom cream soup, with parmesan cheese crescent. Heady flavour, with light shroom chunks topped with delicate cream topping. The cheese croissant gave the contrast to the palate. Fantastic with the fume blanc.

- Slow roasted striploin, black-pepper crust, XO sauce and crisp potato gallette. High quality, grain fed, air-dried beef, pinkishly done and lightly encrusted with pepper, hosted by a melange of roasted vegetables such as squash, zucchini, asparagus and garlic. Goes well with any of the red wine.

- Six-hour baked apple tart, vanilla ice cream and sabayon sauce. Need I say more? The garden of Eden must be missing some apples!

(Panning)
The wine:

- Selection W. Klug Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot 2002 France
- Chateau Yon Lavallade St. Emilion 1999 France
- Wyndham Bin 888 Cabernet Merlot 1999 Australia

The plot:

It’s all about wine lovers taking the piss out of food lovers and vice versa. Wine lovers say the food must match the wine. Food lovers say it’s the other way around. I say tomato, you say potato. They both might be vegetables, but totally different breed of animal. And the plot thickens when the chef came to the table…

The damage:

350 K per person

You get:

Utter gastronomic bliss. And fun, fun, fun.

(Lights dimmed)

Cut! It’s a wrap up!!!!
